LCA Website Improvement Program

(As amended and passed by the LCA membership)

1.     It shall be the goal of the LCA to run and maintain a website of the highest quality for a state chess association of its size.  The maintenance of such a website is important to give value to LCA members for their membership dues.

 

2.     To achieve this goal, the LCA Board is authorize to pay reasonable amounts for content for the LCA website including articles and annotated games.  In no situation shall the LCA Board pay anyone more than $10 per annotated game.  The total amount spent on the website shall not be more than $5 per dues-paying member in any LCA fiscal year (from one state championship to the next).

 

3.     In order to achieve scholastic content on the website, all chess coaches in Louisiana are welcome to submit instructional articles and shall be allowed to advertise their services as chess coaches as part of the instructional articles.  A portion of the website shall also list active coaches in Louisiana and contact info for said coaches.
